Limitations IPv.4 addresses a problem on a global network or the Internet. To maximize the use of IP addresses provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) can use Network Address Translation or NAT. NAT set up a network using a local address (private), the address should not be there in the Internet routing tables and set aside for local network / intranet, can communicate to the Internet by means of borrowing the Internet IP address allocated by your ISP. Or can also be used for network connections between the different organizations who do not want to know the network address of other organizations.

With NAT, internal network / local will not be seen by the outside world / internet. Local IP lot can be passed to the Internet only through translation into a single public IP / global. So in other words that the NAT as a bridge to exit the local IP to IP internet / public.
